The second annual "HJ's Bike Show" took place on the 17th May 2003 at the Chipping Sodbury Masonic Hall, after an unfortunate double booking at the usual venue of the Rugby Club. All proceeds from the show go to The Freewheelers charity in Bristol, who deliver urgent medical supplies (by bike) around the area helping to save lives. The day started off cool and dry with the face-painter huddled in her jumper for warmth. Later in the afternoon there were a number of showers, one or two of them quite heavy, but none lasted too long fortunately. The kitchen at the hall provded a sterling supply of burgers, bacon chips and onions. At lunch time there was even rhubarb crumble. All of which help to keep spirits up (along with the bar no doubt). Entertainment was provided by the band Twisted, who certainly rocked the hall. At one point their singer made use of his radio mic' and came outside to the bike display during the set!
